Christians believe that Jesus is both fully human and fully divine, and that he is the second person of the Holy Trinity, along with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. This belief is central to Christian theology and is based on the teachings of the New Testament, which describe Jesus as performing miracles, forgiving sins, and ultimately being resurrected from the dead, all of which are seen as evidence of his divine nature. **
